| Below is a list of links to national battered women and children organizations. Most of these can refer you to a organization in your state if they do not have one. I have also put together lists of local organizations for various states. To see these listings, please click on the link for your state in the list on the left. These lists are an ongoing project, so if your state is not listed, please use the form below to let us know what area you need information on and we will email your information to you ASAP. You may also reach us at 903-756-3785, day or night. I pray that God will put a hedge of protection around you and your family during this trying time, and that no evil shall fall upon you. I also pray that God will give you peace, a peace in knowing that He will get you through. Please know that there are people that do care. Many of the people you will encounter in these organizations have been through the hell of abuse themselves. I also pray that you begin to see yourself as God sees you, as a child of God, a child that deserves to be treated with love and respect, a child that God has a plan for. Please know that you are worthy of being loved. You will find that this situation will pass, if you will just make this first step today. God bless. |
